Let's Recap January

Oof - January was a big month. As history repeated itself, I spent my time doing the things I love. I read, blogged, took photos .. yet I still had my downs. My family lost our beloved Dakota, those first weeks really hurt. But I'm here, doing better! Anyway, let's recap January.

Top Ten Tuesday: February TBR (Freebie)

The Broke and the Bookish make Tuesday's fun (for bookworms!) with their meme - Top Ten Tuesday.

Bookshelf Tour!

New year, new books .. which leads to cleaning out your bookshelf. In December, I got a new bookshelf then came Christmas and a book signing. Before I knew it, my new bookshelf was overflowing (with books). So I did some cleaning and organizing and wallah! A bookshelf tour. Enjoy!

review: We Are Still Tornadoes by Michael Kun and Susan Mullen

"We made it! We're actual high school graduates - even if one of us needed a little help with the last couple of English assignments. It's going to be very weird not living across the street from you next year. Thanks for ten years of friendship, even the times when you were a royal pain!"

My Dream Crate - Diversity

When I learned about "Dream Crate" project, being run by Loot Crate, my first thought was: a Maggie Stiefvater Crate. I'm weak, I know. But I mean, no one has ever done a Maggie Stiefvater subscription box! (at least that I know) But I did wanted to step out of my comfort zone for this project. So I decided to make my dream crate filled with things that connect with diversity, a topic I'm learning about.

I met Susan Mullen

(PLEASE excuse my resting witch face .. i'm not the best at pictures)

Hey reader! So I have to ask you a question, have you heard of We Are Still Tornadoes? Yeah .. you probably haven't because it's a really underrated book. I mean, let me tell you, I was blown away at how unique and heartwarming it was. But I'll talk about Tornadoes in another post. I'm here to talk about how I met Susan Mullen, the coauthor of We Are Still Tornadoes.
