Let's Recap February and March

Since I didn't blog at all in February, I decided to mash these two months together for a recap! Lots of personal posts, bookish gossip and books are recaped today. Let's dive in.

review: A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro

“We weren't Sherlock Holmes and John Watson. I was ok with that, I thought. We had things they didn't, too. Like electricity, and refrigerators. And Mario Kart.”
― Brittany Cavallaro, A Study in Charlotte

discussion: The Darkest Minds w/ Adaline @ Not Gary Cooper

I did my first ever buddy read with, the sweetest girl ever, Adaline (Not Gary Cooper). She's such a cool chick bookaholics, I highly recommend checking out her blog. Anyhoo, we both read The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken ... back in O
ctober. I made discussion questions back then but we both got caught up with school, personal stuff and our bl- we never finished them. But today is the day! We finally finished our discussion and we now hope you enjoy our little chat.

quiz: what YA contemporary should you read over spring break?

Since spring (break) is approaching us, I think this is the perfect time to dish out some loveable contemporaries. But instead of going through my fave contemporaries list by list, I decided to make a quiz! Because we all love quizzes ... right?

I met Brittany Cavallaro

y'all my face was so embarrassing that i don't even want to share it. welp. but brittany looked amazing so i'm doing it for her

During my time off Annaish, I met Brittany Cavallaro, the author of A Study in Charlotte. She went on tour for her second book in the Charlotte Holmes trilogy, The Last of August. I really enjoyed both of the books and said to myself "hey anna listen: you enjoyed her books, the book signing isn't that far, it's at a library and free. treat yo self!!" So I went and I gotta share the details. (and for me to look back at!)

Fifteen

Yep, I'm fifteen! *throws confetti* I'm currently writing this a day before my birthday but again, the same question occured to me .. what happens when you turn fifteen?

Anna Updates | Issue 3

Hello! I'm alive everybody! I went on a blogging hiatus for two weeks (?) or so because I was feeling quite uninspired. But my writing gears are spinning and I have this itch to blog again. So, a lot of interesting things happened to me while I was gone. Shocking I know! I'm usually living a quiet lifestyle. Anyway, let's get to the point; it's time for another Anna update.
